Boys got new do's so they can see again!

Robbie and David both were in DYER NEED of hair cuts so I took them this morning to get a hair cut. They cried(Robbie more than David shockeningly enough) but I think they look SO HANDSOME and like such big kids. They've had cuts before so it wasn't their first or anything it had just been a LONG TIME. Finally I've gotten it cut and I think we're going to keep it cut short this time. Leah's doing fine with her lip busted. The doctor just said keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected but they wouldn't have stitched it anyway cause it was inside her mouth. We're getting ready for W.V. and things are crazy right now. We're excited and can't wait...So here is an after of the boys new hair-do.(See an earlier post from two days ago for the before's).

New Pool, Upcoming vacation and Leah's busted lip

Well
We decided that we'd buy the babies a swimming pool with their part of the stimulus money so we bought them a 13ftx3.5ft deep pool and we've been swimming everyday. They are having a blast in the pool..it's been SO MUCH FUN! Hot days are so much more fun. Right now we're getting ready to leave out Friday night. Tomorrow we've gotta get haircuts, drivers license renewed, oil changed and tires checked so we've got alot of running around to do which means I'm gonna have some tired kids come tomorrow night. We'll be running most of the day. Tonight when they were getting ready for bed Leah was jumping up to lay down and went up to far when she came down she hit her mouth on the bed and split her lip open. I'll take some pic's to post...my poor sweet girl she just cried. I cried I felt so bad. There was nothing I could do but I still felt like crap. She's sleeping with mommy tonight and I hope she does ok tomorrow it'll only be stuff that doesn't burn for a day or two for her. I H A T E it when they get hurt...it makes me want to throw up(SORRY TMI). It's just so upsetting and I knew what it did as soon as she hit cause of the thud. I'm worried cause I wonder if it doesn't need stitches but John doesn't think it does because it didn't bleed long. I'm still not convinced.

What we've been up to.....

">
" border="0" alt="" />

Hello once again...to anyone out there. We've been pretty busy the past couple of months. Robbie was sick at the end of April and my mom had knee surgery. Then DH's bday and mothers day and my dad's bday in May plus my inlaws were here in the beginning of April(which we were so happy and thankful and sad when they left us) they were SO MUCH HELP! The kids really miss them and keep talking and asking if it's time to go visit Mamaw Betty and Poppaw Ike yet. We're leaving June 27th and will be back July 5th and we can't wait! I'm also EXCITED to mention that New Kids are back!! YAY! I've been staying on their website and chatting with actually people I haven't spoken to in years about the New Kids. It's kinda strange how Jon Knight can still make me giggly at 32 like he did when I was 14..lol. As for the kids my sister, mom and Dad and me took them to Aldridge Gardens last weekend and took a bunch of pic's that turned out AWESOME so I thought I'd post those. We got a new swimming pool for them that they've REALLY ENJOYED and we swim pretty much everyday. They are talking pretty much in full sentences and having conversations with us. It's pretty weird and sometimes makes me want to cry that my babies are going to be 3yrs old in a couple of months! I can't believe it! Here I was worried about their speech and Robbie and David have just EXPLODED with their speech. During the evaluation for the Eclipse Program(through Early Intervention) they talked constantly and were saying TONS OF things. Lynn was SHOCKED at Robbie and how much he was talking. There is a good chance they just might not make it into this program but I'm hoping they do because I think preschool would be good for them. I think they are getting bored with me here at home because I can't do enough to keep them entertained and still keep my house in some kind of running order so they are left to "free play" I think a little to much. Anyway, I'll post the pics I guess it's been a pretty hard and long day I am ready to pass out. The older they get the more that they kick my butt DAILY!

Hmm...just stuff

Man I really suck at this blogging thing...lol. I get so caught up in other stuff that by the time I get on here to write somebody is waking up or I'm falling asleep and I never make it back. From the last time I posted we have had a couple rounds of sickie's I've had an emergency room visit for a K I L L E R headache(for which I'll see a neurologist for next week) the kids FINALLY got their two year shots(they were sick around their bday and from Sept-Nov I just couldn't take them when they were sick already. By the time the New Year rolled around their doctor only sees patients in the well clinic on certain days and so it was a month before they could be seen. They are all healthy and looking great. If anyone's reading or checking anymore please say a prayer for me because it's SOOO HARD waking up at 4am with a headache so bad I wanna throw up and getting up with three 2 1/2 yrs olds who get up running at 7am..it could be a couple of different things. I'm just hoping it gets worked out sooner rather than later.
My dad was released from his hip doctor for LIMITED work sitting at a desk which he still hasn't been released from his hand doctor yet so computer work is out so we think he may have to go back parttime at the end of the month but we're not sure. To tell you the truth and this is gonna sound bad but I was hoping this time wouldnt' come for awhile. I'm so scared for him going back to work. I really didn't get how much so until a month or so ago when I was sitting with my dad and it hit me that he could've not been here with my kids right now. He was very blessed and someone was watching out for him that day and I thank GOD for us still having him here. This has all been quite scary and unsettling. I love it when my kids wanna "call pappaw" just to say hi. They love my dad SO MUCH and he loves them just as much or more and it's so neat to watch them together. We've got alot coming up in the next couple of weeks.
John's parents have gotten back together and they will be down the first of April for a couple of weeks and we're excited about that..we've joked that we may not let them leave! LOL

Here are some recent pic's of our BABIES....

My new hair...

Here is a before and after pic of my haircut..I LOVE my new hair and will probably never let it get that long ever again...It's so much easier like this!! I think it looks better on me too(so does John)...Here ya go this pic was in Dec05 when my hair was long(it was actually longer than this when it was cut day before yesterday it rested on my butt!)

Playtime fun at Jump Zone!

We went last week and met up with our meetup.com group and had a ball! The kids just had so much fun playing on all the stuff we're thinking of having their bday party there this year. I think all the kids would have a blast and it's not to terribly expensive either. The best part is the only thing I'd have to bring is presents and cake with something to cut the cake with everything else they would take care of! How awesome is that?! We're counting down the days until the Day Out with Thomas at the end of March. I think they'll have so much fun they are train crazy. I got my hair cut yesterday it was down to my butt but is now above or sitting on my shoulders...it's a big change but one that feels really good. Saturday David was so funny cause he looked over at me and said "Help me down please Momma" I about fell over...they really are starting to talk more and more which sometimes freaks me out that they can tell me or ask me for what they want and need. Here is a few pictures of our fun day at Jump Zone! tomorrow it's the park and Gammy's& Poppaw's house!

OMG! These kids crack me up! They are TO FUNNY!

Well this is what happens during bathroom breaks in this house! LOL....I had to laugh at the spaghetti noodles they thought it was SO FUNNY to walk over the hard noodles and crack them up in the floor under their feet. It was actually a good stress reliever if you'd ever like to try it.(Although not good for the BRAND NEW bag of noodles that were suppose to be dinner!) Oh well...TO TALL(AKA DAVID) can reach further on the counters than I thought. He's the one in the pic on the right looking at the camera like "can you believe what they are doing, Moma?" when it was HIM that started the other two doing what they were doing. They are SO FUNNY now Leah if someone poots loves to announce that someone has "POOPED". She gets a surprised look on her face and screams really loud throwing her hands over her wide open mouth with eyes wide and says "POOP!" LOL. If she is doing something that she thinks is a big deal she throws her hands in the air and says "TA DA". This girl can get EXCITED quickly...and wow can she scream. She mocks EVERYTHING and everything is "Stop, I do it"(can't tell she's 2) Robbie is SOSOSOSO SWEET! He is just a little cuddlebug. He is talking so much more than he was and I'm not NEAR as worried as I was a month ago. He atleast is TRYING to say things and copy us now. Ms. Lynn from Early Intervention is GREAT...we like her alot! David is my little helper. He has to pick up shoes and socks, hold the cord for the vacuum, help wipe off counters, take diapers to the trash, move clothes from washer to dryer anything he feels like is helping you. If you move to get up out of a chair or off the floor he is right there hand out saying "Hep you" and when he's doing something and is having trouble I love hearing his little "hep me" and the little guy is SOOOOOOO POLITE if you hand him something or give him something like a drink or snack it's "Thank ya"(strangers LOOOVE THIS) He is also really big into giving 5. Him and Robbie try to give each other 5 and laugh when they miss..tooo cute. Leah and me made cookies this weekend. She loved it and so did I. She has to watch me cook everything. We are going to look for a little stool for her to use. OOHHHH a big thing is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving she came up to me and say "tee tee momma" I took her to the bathroom and she's been tee teeing in the potty ever since. David has also recently started to pee in the potty some and we're working on getting him in big boy pants during the day. Robbie is starting to show a little interest since he's seeing Dave and Leah do it but no luck yet..I let him try when they go though and he's so proud for just sitting up there I can't wait til he actually does something..should be pretty funny. I guess that's all for tonight...We're just getting ready for Xmas and enjoying our 70 degree weather(I HATE IT!) It's winter time and I'd like to have a little cold weather. Oh well...we will when we get to W.V. for Xmas at the end of the month.
Later!

I am gonna be an AUNT!

My little sister is going to have a baby! She told us yesterday and believes she due the end of July or beginning of August 2008. We're so excited to have another munchkin running around. My dad is doing much better he's been home a little while now and although he's still hurting alot he's doing much better. The babies are doing GREAT talking more and more everyday. They keep me rolling they are so funny. We've been to the zoo and wildlife resource center at a state park recently and I'll get some pic's posted here soon. I don't get to update alot because I'm so wiped by the end of the day but I'm hoping to get better at this eventually!

It's been awhile and please say some prayers for my dad

Hi all
It's been awhile since I've updated but we've had SO MUCH stuff going on. For the past two months my kids have been passing some sicknesses around and things have been pretty rough around here. Just when it seemed like they were getting better and things were straightening out my dad had an accident at work on Friday. He fell from a catwalk that was 10-12ft in the air. All he remembers is walking down toward the ladder and that is it. He has retrograde amnesia(can't remember things leading up to the fall and being found) he has a broken wrist in several places which also has torn ligaments, he has several breaks in his pelvis which will have to have 3-4 plates to peice it together, he has a minor head injury(bleeding in the brain which they believe will be absorbed by his body), concusion and a deep gash above his left eye. When he was found he was unconcious and they aren't sure how long he'd been laying there. We're blessed that he's still here and we're just asking for major prayers for him. It's pretty scary how things can change. They will be doing a couple of surgeries on his hip and wrist but can't do those until he is more stable. They are also waiting for one of the surgeons that can do his surgery because they only do them on Monday's and Thursday's because there is only 2 doctors who can do the kind of surgery he needs. Tonight he started running a low grade fever they will be watching this pretty closely so whoever if anyone reads this please say some prayers for him.

Hmmm...THIS TOO SHALL PASS BUT WHEN???????

God help me I love my kids I really really really do more than life itsself. I mean I prayed for them for years and have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mommy to them and see every first and do all this wonderful stuff with THREE babies not just one but there are days like yesterday and today that make me want to RIP OUT MY HAIR BY THE ROOTS! I go in and get them up this morning tell them we need to put our pasi's in our beds for nap later today...they all do and go running out of the room. They pick up their milk and I proceed to change diapers before we get settled in for breakfast and this is where the FUN begins!! David decided he didn't want his diaper changed so I had to CHASE HIM down(which he thought was halarious by the way) so I catch him and change his diaper while he is screaming like he's being beat with a club and stiffing up his legs. I get him changed and Leah(sweet girl) comes over and lays down for me to change her. Robbie takes off running so another chase begins...catch him and we do battle but get him changed. They like to "HELP" me do everything so they took their diapers to the pantry where I keep the trash can(why fight that battle right?) I open the door and they fight pushing and screaming at each other yelling "NO NO MINE...STOP...MOVE" so I take the diapers and all three go running SCREAMING like their heads are on fire flinging themselves on the floor banging their heads so I get them in their seats and give them their pancakes so they eat breakfast(another battle to wipe them off cause they had syrup everywhere!). We go to the living room to play and Leah takes everything the boys go to TOUCH screaming at them "MINE, NO" I put her in time out and she laughs. She gets out of time out and goes to climb the toy kitchen..I get her down she goes to the couch climbs up and scoots on her bottom across the top of the couch with me saying "No Leah...get down please. GET DOWN...RIGHT NOW" to which her and David look at me and say "IGHT NOOW"(I hide my laughter cause it was kinda cute) and phyiscally move her off the couch only to realize Robbie has disappeared(he's SO SNEAKY) so I come back to the den and he has pulled the cushions off the couch and is standing on one turning the vcr off and on and has took the access card out of the Direct TV box and torn paper(still haven't figured out how he got to it) up in the floor! SO I get him we go back to the living room where I get Leah back down off the couch and sit down in the floor to try to sing with them(they love Itsy Bitsy Spider, If your happy and you know it) that kinda stuff. David LOVES to wear out shoes around so he slides his feet into my shoes and starts to go walking off well Leah decides they are her shoes and she wants them so she GRABS THE BACK OF THE SHOES as he is walking past and what do you think David does....if you guessed hit the floor FACE FIRST you are correct!! He starts screaming I'm trying to comfort him and telling Leah she was MEAN to bubba and she looks at me and says "mean baby" and points to herself. We get juice and a snack and sit down to watch a little t.v. and I got up to go clean up the kitchen and get started on lunch. I made them grilled cheeses(which they've eaten before usually once a week) and made John& me some tomato soup to go with out grilled cheese(the babies don't like the tomato soup) we sit down to eat and they play with it, throw it in the floor, crumble it up on the table everything but eat it....so we try pizza..nope don't want it either. So I give them some juice change diapers and we lay them down for naptime because it was a little after 12pm. At 230 I got them up and again checked diapers(which means chased David and Robbie through the house) and got them some mac&cheese they have to be hungry right? They eat that and popcorn w/ a bananna for lunch. They are playing in the living room and I'm unloading the dishwasher and hear Leah start SCREAMING CRYING(like a for real hurt cry) I go in and Robbie has scratched the CRAP out of her face and she has all these little nail marks on her cheek. Robbie goes in time out and keeps getting up and taking a step and sitting back down laughing. Finally he does his time out and gets up. He finds a plastic bat and is hitting the little balls they have in the floor around minding his own business so I go to finish the dishwasher because John is home and in their with them and hear Leah start really crying again and hear John YELLING at someone. Turns out Robbie had Leah by the hair and was PULLING WITH EVERYTHING HE HAD...my family came down tonight for my mom's bday which was Saturday and thank GOD my sister and mom bathed the babies tonight so that was one thing I didn't have to worry about especially after the day we had. They honestly acted like they were deaf all day because anything I said they just laughed and kept right on doing it like "what are you gonna do about it" So they went to bed at 8pm and John& me collapsed on the couch looked at each other and CRACKED UP LAUGHING because we're both insane and wore OUT! I don't know if we're going to survive or if they are going to end up locking us up in the house and having a P A R T Y for the next 18yrs! LOL...What a day but hey we're healthy, happy and still have a few stray hairs left so what could be better..we're blessed to have three healthy, active kids sleeping in their own room in their own beds right now which is where I'm heading.
Night all!! I'll get some pic's tomorrow of Leah's face for ya'll to see..I don't have them uploaded and am wore out.

This is a NUTHOUSE!!

Sometimes I feel like I live in a crazy house. There is so much going on all the time I just have to sit down and take a breath. The babies naptime I am so tired I've been cleaning one room and resting the rest of their naptime because they are all over the place. Our house is childproofed but they can find anything they are NOT suppose to be in to get into!! I was sitting in the living room floor with them playing after nap on Thursday of last week and Leah came back to the den Robbie was already back here and David got up to come see what they were doing so after a few minutes(they usually chase each other back and forth) they didn't come back and it was REALLY QUIET which is NOT GOOD so I came in here to see what was going on and much to my surprise they were not in here..they were ON THE BACK PORCH!!!! They had pushed open the sliding glass door and were happily running around on the porch and when they saw me come in here they were looking at me like "where have you been?" Meanwhile I was freaking out and now we can't even leave the doors unlocked without them breaking out. Thank GOD John had put the gate up on the steps several weeks ago or that could've been VERY BAD. They are repeating EVERYTHING we say it's like the game you've heard older siblings and younger siblings(not nessicerly a game) but repeating to get on your nerves we'll I have three repeats right on my heals and if ONE SLIP happens they repeat it the rest of the day! OH THE JOY! LOL--We came back from W.V. and it was like they went wild. Didn't want to nap started climbing in and out of their cribs, climbing high chairs and the toy kitchen(and anything else they could) so they don't have high chairs anymore and Leah's enjoying her toddler bed..so far David and Robbie are doing ok with it so now things have finally settled down some I hope to do a better job of keeping up with this blog.
Leah says probably 50-100 words now and David is closing in on her. Robbie I'm actually a little worried about because he doesn't seem to be saying much he just jibbers all day. We may be looking into a speech evaluation for him soon. It's late so I'm hitting the sack to get ready for tomorrow!
Thanks if anyone is still reading this.

Vacation..haha. 6/29-7/9

Hi

It's been awhile since I wrote I just kinda got away from it but really want to start posting to it more even if nobody reads it but me..lol. We went to W.V. for vacation and even though three toddlers in homes that were not babyproofed was EXTREMELY stressful and tiring it had it's moments. We spent alot of time with John's cousin Jamie& his family. He and Joni have two boys Brandon& JD that I've LOVED since I first met them. They are the rowdest two boys but are the two sweetest and most wellmannered kids I've seen. They know when to behave and when to cut up. They are SO GENTLE with the babies they entertained them and ran after them & seemed to enjoy it..lol. They cracked me up referring to the babies as "my baby"(Leah ADORED Bandon). Jd liked playing with Robbie and David more I think. Him and David would "fight" with each other. While we were there I really saw the babies in a more grown up light...they wanted to be treated more like big kids instead of babies. They talked alot more while we were up there for some reason and still are now since we've been back home. It's like being around Brandon & Jd made their speech just explode. They aren't around many older kids(or other kids period besides church) while hear at home. While in W.V. John grandmother fell and broke her hip. She was pretty bad for awhile because they just put 3 stints in her heart in June and so they couldn't take her off blood thinners because of the risks associated with clots but needed to do surgery so they weren't sure how she would do in surgery THANK GOD she is alright and now in a nursing home until she gets her hip rehab done. She is married and I'm sure she misses her hubby who will be 107yrs old in Oct!!! They live alone together which is why she had to go to a nursing home because they thought she needed full time help for awhile instead of just rehab at home. We went to Kanawha State Forrest while we were up there and hiked on one of the trails and we walked out on another but didn't get to far because it was to rough for the babies to walk or to take the wagon out but we got some pretty good pic's I'll be loading.

As for the babies they're doing some new stuff now that is pretty darn cute! David LOVES to count(and can count to 5) he sometimes mixes it up and will jump from 2 or 3 to 5 but it's adorable. He loves to give a high five and put on a little book bag his mommaw Betty gave him and wear it around the house. He still loves talking on the phone but now he wants to talk when someone is on the other end of the line! If the phone rings he runs to it saying "helloooo" I'll have to get a video of him saying hello it cracks us up!

Robbie is pointing to EVERYTHING and asking "what is it?"(if he's asked me once he's asked a BILLION times what everything in this house is). He asks you tell him and he points out something else. He also loves to pretend to be asleep(including snoring) and gets a kick out of you trying to "wake him up". He's still not doing to much with the fork or spoon he gets frustrated REALLY EASY and ends up tossing it..lol. He LOVES Thomas the Train. When he hears the music he runs SCREAMING "CHOO CHOO" he is SO FUNNY. Sometimes it's like he just gets a huge burst of energy and goes running through the house screaming at the top of his lungs laughing. He is also loving "if your happy and you know it". His favorite part is the stomping part and it is so funny to watch him try to stomp his feet and clap his hands. He also makes us laugh jumping too...he's my shorty and to see his little legs jumping will make you smile everytime.

Leah....well there is only one word to describe her and that is W I L D!!!! She says SO MANY things and is eating GREAT with a fork& spoon. She jumps from one house to the other loves MoMo(AKA Elmo). She also likes the pretend to sleep game. She will take your hand and lead you to the kitchen and go to the fridge saying "juice" and/or "num num"(milk). If she sees you making lunch or dinner she climbs INTO her high chair and sits down. On Friday I put them down for their nap as normal and John& I were sitting the living room(I was folding clothes he was eating lunch) and all the sudden Leah started CRYING..I go check and she has climbed OUT of her crib and gotten in the dresser pulling out clothes and then CLIMBED INTO Robbie's crib!!! Alot of kids climb out and I was shocked she hadn't already done that cause she can climb anything she's part monkey I think. But to climb INTO Robbie's just shocked me!

Some of the best times is seeing them all three when they get into their screaming matches...they get in a room almost in a circle and start going "AHHHHHHH" really loud and long then just bust out laughing. Sometimes they run through the house in a line screaming "AHHHHHHH" too...I know most people will think I'm nuts but I LOVE IT! I didn't have kids to have a quiet house and could careless the noise is the most wonderful sound to me. My house is busy and full of kids and I love it that way!

Here's some pic's from Vacation!!
